Good-bye, Pinkie Gladys Gutzman

A long, long time ago, in the far away land of my reality, lived a young girl who was quite picky about her clothing.

Not only did it have to be completely made of the correct-feeling fabrics (pretty much sweatpants and t-shirts),

it had to be tag-free,

and meet her non-verbal-able criteria.  Yep, that is a word.

The main thing it had to be, above all else, was pink.

Remember the pink bedroom she lived in?

But, like everything around here it seems, she is growing right out of this pink thing.  So I must now retire her nickname, Pinkie Gladys Gutzman, or just Gladys for short.  She still answers to Gladys, but has requested we drop it.

She got the nickname from a favorite book, Junie B. Jones Is a Beauty Shop Guy.

Right here.

It is sad to see some of this stuff go.  But now much easier to find clothes for her because sweatpants come in gray, black, and dark blue, now all colors she will wear.  Although after getting home from cross country practice today, she slipped into something comfy, grabbed her pillow and blanket, and settled in for a lazy Friday.
