The rainbow without the *p* word

She doesn’t like you.

You feel prickly.

She won’t touch you.

You kill people.

This poem has been inspired by my sensory daughter who despised the color purple.  At times, her hatred has been so deep that our other daughter could keep her out of her bedroom simply by placing a purple blanket across the doorway or by dragging her purple garbage can across the carpet, thus contaminating the flooring with purple germs.  Yep, this is reality for us.
