I am married

Today, Bill and I celebrate 16 years of wedded bliss.  Or something.  I know that it is hard to imagine that way back then, our parents signed the form to allow us to marry while still pubescent, but so far so good, so don’t judge.  Child brides can go on to live normal lives.

I am pretty spoiled rotten.  Where we are today and what we are doing speaks of the love Bill has for me and for our children, because we all know he is not doing this for himself in any way shape or form.

We are at Sonshine music festival.  Big crowds, loud music, sardine-like living, HOT, not being in total control of the environment.  Everything Bill hates.  His plan is to sleep in a chair right after he reads for hours.  Man, you are showing your age there, Mr. Pieper.  Don’t roll your eyes when you see me crowd surfing with Crazy Man.  We read the how-to’s.  When we dance in the rain with Bob and Larry while you huddle under the umbrella keeping your book dry, don’t be embarrassed.   These things happen when you marry a freak like me.  You knew what you were getting into, I haven’t changed all that much.
