Honestly, it’s the most wonderful time of the year

I wish I could bottle this time of the year.  What is not to love about July?

Life is happy in July.  We are a month away from last school year, and a month before we are forced to think about the upcoming one.

My body has relaxed into it’s natural sleep cycle.  Midnight to 9 AM, sometimes a nap.

And we are not hyper-scheduled, so we can hit the lake when the weather is great.  Or read a book.

Carefree, Happy, Unwound

We celebrate our great nation’s freedoms with friends and family in our backyard.

And we spend time doing what we love with those we love.  July is the sweet spot of life.

I am pretty sure I could be a poster child for looking stupidly happy when during the fireworks grand finale.  My perma-grin stretches from ear to ear and I can’t do anything about it, nor do I want to.  I am that happy about it all.

I love the Little Sizzlers – you know, the fireworks that make the crackling noise like when you throw water in hot oil?  And the Fry Guys – the fireworks that just hang in the air forever.  I clap like a little kid for those.  And when the super loud ones explode, making my heart beat to a different rhythm, I am simply thrilled.

This is definitely my favorite time of year.

Your posts on so on point!! I was just thinking I don’t want this week to end, nor the month! Time off, vacation, friends, family, etc. I don’t want to let it go. I love you I love the photos and can feel the good times in each one.

What great pictures! Wish I lived near a lake or a giant green cornfield!
July is the best summer month, hands down. I hate it when August rolls around and you have to start thinking about back-to-school. Boo!

I love school supplies – really, I love perfect rows of pencils. I like seeing them in the stores, I just dont like what they mean. 🙂 July…I wait for you all year and then you are gone in a flash.
